I read. I read. I read.
How to Kill a Rock Star - Tiffanie DeBartolo What a story! Eliza is a wanna-be writer and Paul is a wanna-be rocker. When their paths cross, both of their lives take off.One of the things I enjoyed the most about this story was the emotion. There were plenty of reasons to laugh, swoon, sigh, and cry. Pluses: well-developed plot, realistic portrayal of the rock scene, characters lived in hovels in NYC, swoon-worthy men, smart ElizaMinuses: dumb Eliza, a bit hard-to-believe ending (even so I loved the final scenes), urge to scream at characters a few times, a bit long in placesOverall, I highly recommend this book. It's a love story wrapped up in rock-and-roll.Favorite quote: I think there's something seriously wrong with anyone who isn't at least a little let down by the world.
