As I Wake

As I Wake - Elizabeth Scott Ava wakes up in a world that feels hollow and empty to her. Names mean something but the people to whom the names are attached don't match. Is she really awake?Solid story that starting out confusing and settled into being a fast-paced story of sorrow, love, and loss. Which world is real? Does Morgan exist anywhere? Everywhere? I would have liked to have known more about Ava's first/real/original world. I wanted to know what Ava's life was like before she entered training. What was Ethan's hardship? How did he earn that oft-discussed thick coat? What exactly happened to new-world Ava?I'm a big believer in parallel worlds. Everyone's life is a twisted path and one decision starts Life A AND Life B. When those parallel lives move close together, we end up with déjà vu. No, I'm not crazy. Yes, this book got an extra star solely because it backs up what I've been saying all along!
